Do a simple search on Google and you will find millions of companies offering free web page hosting. But be careful friend. With many of these offers you may find that hosting a website is not as simple and free as it appears to be.
For starters. With free web page hosting. That is all you normally get. One web page. More then one page and you may have to buy extra disk space. If your one page website attracts a lot of traffic. You may also find that you now have to pay for extra bandwidth as well.
Secondly. You are in most cases limited to one domain. If you plan to have only one website, no problem. But not a good option if you are serious about building your business. Using a free service, could, in the long run, work out more expensive for you then it would if you subscribed to a conventional paid hosting service.
So, with this being said. When you are ready to launch your first website. Be prepared to fork out some cash and choose a hosting company that you can stick with.
I have tried a few hosting companies and would like to introduce you to Hostgator and Hostmonster. These are the two I currently use and they offer very inexpensive web site hosting.
Both Hostgator and Hostmonster offer a very similar service. I am not going to list all the many great services and benefits they have on offer. But here are just a few of the main ones.
Unlimited hosting space on their server.
Unlimited number of domains.
Unlimited site bandwidth.
Unlimited email accounts.
Free site builder.
Visit the Hostgator and Hostmonster sites for the full list.
The only real difference between the two is price. Hostgator offers a monthly cost starting at only $4.95 pm or annual cost whereas Hostmonster is a one, two or three year subscription. Which does turn out cheaper in the long run. After all. You are not going to run your website for only a few months. Are you?
I think the main reason why I like these two above all the others I have tested. Is their service support. You have 25/7 live chat. And believe me. This can be very helpful. Especially for someone finding their feet in this business.
What is also great is that they function on a Cpanel which gives you easy access to your website files on their server for file management and much more.
In closing let me just add that both these hosting services are in the top ten. You owe it to yourself to take a closer look at them. Keeping in mind that you may be entering a relationship that could last you for years. I am confident that you would be happy with either. While you are at it. Have a look at a few of the free web page hosting services. The comparisons will speak volume’s.
PS: One of the tools you will need in addition to your hosting service is File Transfer Protocol(FTP) software. You can download your free copy of Filezilla here. It is great and very user friendly.

I have just started a small seo consultancy business and the steady income thing is not a major concern for me, as I have a lot of clients who pay in monthly installments. The one thing that I find hard is knowing when to stop work and when I can actually start it. I have a young family so time is a major issue for me.
